Abstract |
Objective Chronic subdural hemorrhage is a common disease in elderly patients and is a disease that has been linked to treatment and recurrence many studies have been conducted to evaluate the efficacy of perforation in the treatment of chronic subdural hemorrhage and compared the results with the number of treatments.
Methods From January 2014 to December 2016, 90 patients who underwent surgery for chronic subdural hematoma were enrolled in this study. The age, sex, age, Markwalder’s grading score, GCS, hematoma depth were compared.
Results The mean age of the patients was 75.4 years. In the comparison of age among the groups, two burr-hole groups showed a statistically significant difference compared with one burr-hole group. But Markwalder’s grading score and Glasgow coma scale (GCS), hematoma depth, there was no statistically significant difference between.
Conclusion In the treatment of chronic subdural hemorrhage, there was no difference in the incidence of recurrence between one burr-hole group and two burr-hole groups. |
