Abstract
We found 2 cases of regrown aneurysm after coil embolization. Those are originated from fetal type posterior communicating artery. Fetal type posterior communicating arteries get higher pressure than non-fetal type. Aneurysms originated from fetal type posterior communicating artery often get higher pressure and higher incidence of rupture. Each case is same in that regrown fetal type posterior communicating artery aneurysm but different in each of them treated other ways like endovascular procedure or surgical procedure. We report the risk of fetal type posterior communicating artery aneurysm and the choice of its treatment.
